Do you have a refund policy?
We understand that sometimes things come up and plans change. However, we don’t offer refunds for cancellations or for work that’s already been finished. If your project allows for split payments, we usually ask for a non-refundable 50% deposit upfront.
What is your pricing structure?
It depends on the service, but we mostly offer fixed packages that include up to a certain word count. For manuscripts with custom requests or word counts over 30,000 words, we use the Premium package as a base price and add a discounted cost based on the additional word count. Right now, we only accept payments through Wise, direct bank transfer, and PayPal.
Do you provide contracts for editing and formatting services?
Absolutely. Once we agree on the details of your project, we’ll provide a contract outlining the scope of work, timelines, and payment terms to ensure everything is transparent.
How long does the editing and formatting process take?
The timeline varies depending on the length and complexity of your manuscript. Generally, editing takes about 2 to 6 weeks, while formatting ranges from 1 to 3 weeks. Read our Editorial Services pages to see estimated deadlines.
Will I get my files before I settle the final payment?
No, we can’t send over your final files—whether it’s for a manuscript critique, editing, or formatting—until the balance is paid up. Once we get that payment cleared, you’ll have your files in your inbox within 24 business hours, tops. If you pay during our regular business hours, you might get them in just a few minutes.
Do you use AI?
We use AI for some behind-the-scenes stuff, but we don’t use AI for editing your writing. We believe in the human touch for that—real editors with real brains and real eyeballs. And absolutely no way are we letting a robot handle your formatting or design.
